Hi there! Let’s get to know each other.

Hi, I’m Tamara Lance—an illustrator and surface designer with a lifelong love for making things fun and colorful. Ever since I could hold a crayon (and occasionally taste one), I’ve been turning my imagination into art that tells a story.

I draw inspiration from nature’s quirks, my favorite hobbies, and the wonderfully chaotic moments of life. From tiny forest creatures to retro gaming nostalgia, my work is all about creating a little magic.

I’m lucky to call the beautiful upstate of South Carolina home, where the seasons keep me inspired and the tea keeps me fueled. I share my creative adventure with my best friend (who I also call my husband), our hilariously imaginative son, and two lovable, fluffy co-workers who occasionally demand belly rubs during brainstorming sessions.

Life here is full of laughter, creativity, and just the right amount of chaos—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to have my work recognized and featured in a variety of exciting ways:

  • My Lucha Libre pattern was featured as wallpaper in a little girl’s room in the movie A Man Called Otto, starring Tom Hanks.

  • For Pride Month 2023, several of my designs were featured on the BoxLunch website.

  • My work has been highlighted as a featured artist or prominently displayed on TeePublic, Threadless, and Redbubble, including being showcased on Redbubble’s front header.

  • I’ve placed in the Top 50 in three Spoonflower design contests and even took first place in the pattern design contest for Elizabeth Olwen’s Skillshare course.

Every project fuels my creativity and keeps me excited about the next big idea!
